Foreign citizens and stateless persons can enter and study at Khmelnytskyi National University at bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels for their own costs or on the basis of intergovernmental agreements. According to accredited educational programs (specialties), the study process lasts:
- 4 years for the bachelor program;
- 1,5..2,0 years for the master's degree program;
- 4 years for the program of Ph.D.
In general, studies at the University are conducted in Ukrainian, and in some programs (specialties) - in English languages:
- foreign citizens who plan to study the Ukrainian language program but do not speak Ukrainian enter the preparatory department for 10 months to learn the Ukrainian language and other subjects due to the program;
- foreign citizens who plan to study the English language program or have good Ukrainian knowledge and have confirmation documents are enrolled in the University by interview results.
HOW TO ENROLL AT KHMELNYTSKYI NATIONAL UNIVERSITY IN 2023
Apply to the University and receive an invitation to study.

Documents for issuing the invitation:
- Scanned copy of the international passport (page with photo);
- Scanned copy of the signed consent on the processing of personal data (write by the hand full name, the date, and put the signature);
- Scanned copy of the Secondary School Certificate (Document received after graduation from secondary school) with the transcript. If necessary, University can ask to make a translation of school documents into Ukrainian or English languages for checking subjects and marks;
- For Master Degree training only - scanned copy of the Secondary School Certificate with the transcript and Bachelor's Degree Diploma.
Based on this information, the University draws up an official invitation for training and sends it to the applicant.

Apply for a visa at the Embassy of Ukraine abroad mfa.gov.ua/en/consular-affairs
The education documents must be approved by the Department of Education of the country that issued the documents and legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country. There must also be a notarized copy of educational documents translated into Ukrainian. While obtaining a visa, all the above-indicated documents shall be legalized in the Embassy of Ukraine.
Upon receipt of visa “D” for study, it is necessary to inform the Department for International Students about the date of your arrival (number of flights or bus).
Pass the entrance exams, including remotely, in your country.
The level of knowledge is assessed on a scale: high, sufficient, or insufficient. Based on the interview results, a decision is made on enrollment.
